... My little girl (2 in June) had her first hair cut yesterday and all of a sudden she's not a baby any more! That hair cut seems to have caused her to grow up all of a sudden!

Reminds me of an old Herb Pedersen song...

Up at 7:30 she comes into our room
She wants to make her breakfast but she can't find her spoon
We wake up and try to shake the sandman out of our eyes
She's already got her clothes on much to our surprise
She did it all by herself and we realize our baby's gone.

I'm sure there's other out there that will sympathise!

Make the most of it! They grow up before you know it.

Just wait until she's 14. You are a taxi full stop. You find yourself driving past the park where you know she will be to check out the 'skater dudes' she hangs around with. 9pm you start to worry where she is, then she phones and you dash out to pick her up. She hasn't eaten so you cook her something.
She gets her way about the film on television and ruins it by talking to friends on the phone whilst the film is on. You remind her about homework and get a shrug and 'whatever'.
Then its bedtime, she gives you a kiss and tells you she loves you. Its all worthwhile.

I think I'm going to have to be one of those Victorian dad's!
