Ive been offered a pair of ruark talisman ll speakers in black ash good condition by a local shop but sure how much i should offer,any ideas? Thanks

Hi Dan. Sorry for the name similarity, I'd have chosen different if I'd known.

Talismans are often up for sale on eBay, have you looked at prices of completed sales ? Should give you an idea.

£100-£120 seems typical.

I have seen them up to £180, for a really tidy pair. They are really nice, slightly warm sounding speakers.

Royd Minstrels are comparable, but much faster, and occasionally a little raucous.
