Hello everyone!
I'm new around here but I am not new to hi-fi :) I enjoy music every day and it's a big part of my life.
My current system if you're curious:
Speakers: IMF Reference Standard Professional Monitor Mark IV, Kef Reference 107
Amplifier: Carver M1.5
Pre-amplifier: Carver C-1
Turntable: Luxman PD-264
DAC: Musical Paradise MP-D1 with a PC running foobar

As you can tell my audio equipment is all older. But I like it that way. Most of the gear is completely restored, save for the Kef 107's. I don't like to fool around with aging equipment, I like to restore it and bring it back to its factory performance and of course it also improves reliability. Less of a chance of something blowing up on me.
My music taste is a little all over the place; I love 80s music, also love classical and orchestra. Jazz is nice to listen to and I enjoy disco, pop, dance quite a bit. I enjoy punk rock and of course other forms of rock/metal a lot. Ahh, that's really about it? I really don't dislike much, maybe the "gangster" rap and the twangy country, but other than that I am pretty eclectic.
