Just a few words about me and my hifi. I first started my hifi system in 1977 with a Sony TCK45 cassette deck from Laskys and some Sennheiser HD400 headphones. Spent my university grant (didn't eat for a few years)) on a NAD 3020, ADC 1600 turntable and Misson 700 speakers. Went through a number of turntables, amps and speakers before arriving at the classic 90s system of Linn Sondek, Ittok, Troika, Naim 32/135s and Linn Isobariks. Then added a Naim CDS2. Went through a big hifi upheaval recently to end up with a Graaf GM50 valve amp (wonderful and beautiful) and Sonus Faber Auditor Elipsa speakers (even more beautiful) with the same front ends.
My musical taste (like me) is still stuck in the 70s with progressive rock, soundtracks and now expanding into 'smooth jazz'.:)

Hi Mark,
Here's a warm AoS welcome from me too.
I remember Lasky's! Once went in their Brighton branch to pass the time of day, while someone else was looking at clothes or shoes or something & walked out with a pair of Acoustic Research speakers. I got my money out before the other bloke who was looking at them finished asking "How many watts are they?"
