Hi everybody, I am Rob from Northants, UK.
I like to listen to a wide variety of music but favourites would be Paul Weller in all his reincarnations, and Martyn Joseph (especially live stuff!)
I particularly enjoy female vocals but also enjoy trance and dance stuff such as Way Out West / Nick Warren underground.

My system compromises a Musical Fidelity KW250s feeding a pair of QLN Signatures. I am looking to buy a turntable as we speak. It is my 50th next Friday and the better half has agreed to a TT for my birthday treat:)

Hi Rob, welcome from me too. (Northampton born, lived in Rushden for my first 8 years.) Nice music choices - might be heresy but I love Weller's Style Council sound the best... Way Out West are class, too :thumbsup:

So, what turntable have you got your eye on?

Hi Alex, I am in Kettering. Blackburn lad originally but moved to Northampton in 1980 and Kettering in 1998 when I got married.

I have my eye on one of the following:

Rega RP8

Project Extension 10 or RPM 10

funk Firm LSD

With Rega would go with Apheta and Aria stage. If one of others, something like Benz Micro Ace SH or Sumiko Blackbird into maybe Graham Slee Reflex

Any experience of these decks?
