For sale I have a turbo-charged Technics SL-1210 mk2, that was originally sold and modified by Sound Hi-Fi. Reason for selling is that I have decided I am more of a 'rubber-band' deck kind of guy …

PLEASE NOTE THE DECK IS SUPPLIED WITHOUT TONEARM & CARTRIDGE PICTURED!

The deck operates flawlessly and the pitch is rock steady.

The plinth is in near mint condition - 9/10.
The lid is in very good condition with a small scratch on the rear of the lid - 7/10.
The Timestep PSU is in near mint condition and is supplied with mains cable - 9/10

The following mods have been made. I'm sure I don't need to spell out the cost of all the individual mods for you to know the value here!

Timestep PSU / Mike New Bearing / Isonoe Feet / Resomat (+ a more standard mat) / Soundsupports Aluminium arm board (Linn fit but a wide range of arm boards out there should you prefer)

I have the original Technics box, packaging and manual. The Timestep PSU will be sent separately as there is no room to safely house it in the 1210 box.

Price is £850 firm (Paypal gift) plus delivery at cost for your choice of courier and insurance requirements. Or, cash on collection from Highgate, North London.

Hi Julian

If you end up having to split this up - which would be sad but has happened to other Technics decks recently - I would take the Mike New Bearing (I can send you a mint Technics bearing as replacement + payment for difference) and I would be interested in the TS HE PSU (again I can supply you with a standard TS PSU as replacement or original Technics PSU + payment for difference).

Hi Jules

I too would be interested in the MNB. I have a virtually unused bearing to exchange it for and would be happy to collect in person and pay cash.

Regards:)

No worries let me know if you would like to do so and we can work something out. I am looking for these for my Technics modifications series of reviews - due to begin soon as I have nearly cleared my backlog of pending articles and reviews.

Hi Tony, no tonearm supplied ...

Thanks Jules, I'm looking for a Technics without the mike new bearing thing and have bought a timestep PSU your deck looks perfect but I would need an arm so wee bit rich for me.

Just thinking out loud:eyebrows:

Good luck with the advert mate:)
