Hi, been lurking around for a while, but it's time to start talking to people. I know next to nothing about hi fi, but I heard a system a while back that made me stop and say 'wow'. I never knew hi fi could sound that good, so after many years of neglect, its time to start a major re-vamp.
I own a pair of Jamo BX100's which have always sounded awful with my technics amp/receiver - could be to do with they need far more 'oomph' that the amp can deliver. Anyway, it all sounds awful, so time to do something about it, and chase that 'wow'.
Ideally, as a long term goal, I'd like to rip my CDs/records onto a NAS drive, but one step at a time.
Regards
John
