fs: Quad ESL 57's (mint)

After a lot of thought I'm going to let my matched pair of bronze (1967) ESL 57's go, I hardly use them anymore and they have been stored away under wraps, they're both virtually mint condition. I have both the original speakers boxes in roofspace but they're not in good shape. I've owned these for around 6/7yrs now, both working fine but sure a service would be needed in the near future. I have the standard bulgin power cables.

Asking £575 for these iconic beauties, or, willing to trade/deal for an integrated amp or power amp/s possibly. Can stretch money wise to around £750 (ish), money your way etc.... Sorry, can't post these due to fragile and size wise, I'm located near Stirling/Perth/Falkirk/Dunfermiline area of central Scotland, can meet/travel within reasonable distance. I'll get a few photo's posted here soon.

How much is a service for speakers such as these? something I'd like to try but the wallets poorly again, and SWMBO isn't around till the weekend to second opinion any decision I might make(or try to).

I've been after a pair of these since Adam was a lad but I'm in Somerset which is almost as far away as it's possible to get.

A nice pair just turned up on the bay about 20 miles away from me but the geezer wants a grand for them which is taking the Michael somewhat considering he makes no mention of them ever having been serviced.

Sigh :(

There really is nothing else that sounds quite like the ESLs. I've only had a pair once, but they leave a lasting impression. Amazing sound!
