Just quick hello.

My tastes in music is eclectic, ranging from Soul, Funk, Reggae, rock, pop to big band jazz music.

Purchased my first stereo in 1979 (Pioneer SA706 amp, Hitachi cassette deck, Garrard turntable, Marantz FM tuner and Wharfedale Linton speakers, replacing Solavox PR25 MKII)

I am an avid listener to FM and Freeview radio. Now have a shiny modern amp with nice knobs, wonderful CDP, good budget turntable, floorstanding speakers, sterling tuner and plethora of spaghetti to connect the whole lot together.

First and foremost I am a music lover, or as some say, a frustrated musician, therefore my hi-fi bridges my lack of musical ability.

No interest, at this juncture, in modern streaming methods. Scares the life from me.

Hope I can contribute at some point.

Thanks, PP.

Don't really. Have a very cheap acoustic guitar which has collected dust for years. Had lessons about 23 years ago but decided, correctly, that my brain and fingers were lacking co-operation.

Love to upgrade every now and again (with bank balance a spousal approval)

Will exhibit some pics once I renew my camera. It's a very old digital jobbie so need to save pennies to find a decent new one.

Hi Richard. That's a pretty nice system you have there. I must admit though that I have little knowledge of Leema gear. Haven't seen any down these parts yet. Reviews well though.
Yup, pics usually get me going too.:)
What cartridge are you enjoying at the moment. I have a bit of a cartridge fetish happening at present. Love the little beaut's.

Sounds divine. The balance, with my room acoustics, is awesome for the money.

Yup, really good cartridge. It's a ClearAudio Classic Wood (MM).

Know it well. How's the tunnel? My brother lives in Camberley and works a fair bit around your neck of the woods. One of my old clients lives in Cranleigh.
