I bought this ex dem a few weeks ago, all original packing, valve covers and what have you, only fault being a very slightly bent speaker terminal, doesn't show any signs of damage so I'm not sure what caused it, sounds excellent though.

Loads of quality parts inside this Aussie beauty, weighs a ton also!

This is the improved mkII version( £1k new) so £500 inc delivery seems fair.

What an odd design! Rather nice in a businesslike and purposeful way, though slightly reminiscent of a spaceship, somehow.

The review waxed a bit too lyrical for me and I lost the plot, but it's certainly excellent value for money.

Not quite sure of the Australian connection; can hardly believe they make valved amps. in their climate, especially this summer!

T'would be interesting to have a report when it's settled down in its new surroundings.

I was under the impression Melody was a Chinese brand?

An Australian company, owned by a Chinese gentleman and manufactured in China. Apparently.

Make of that what you will!...

Nice amps though.
