As will be seen below a 640cV2 CD player.

This is a genuinely low mileage player. I bought it at a time when I was heavily into DIY and it very much got sidelined and as such was never really used as I was having too much fun with DACs and a DIY transport I built. Since then other projects (modding a Marantz CD63 among others) made it non used item.

Cosmetically it is a little poor on the top plate. It would seem that it has suffered from stuff being loaded on top of it on the rack. If you look at my pic in the "systems you have owned and enjoyed" you will see that there is some gubbins resting on it! (there is in fact a rack shelf on top of the CD player which was designed to prevent scuffing:scratch:)

I have the very nice full system remote for it, manual and original box. It features twin Wolfson DACs

Had lots of good reviews in it's time.

Looking for £45 plus P+P

That's a very keen price for a great little player. I wish this sale was on a bit earlier... I would have had it for sure!

I am pricing stuff so that it hopefully goes quickly!

Last night I was watching that programme "The Hoarder Next Door" and could really associate with her feelings of release after finally being able to let go of stuff she had hoarded for years. I have now been able to leave behind the nagging man on my shoulder saying.....yes, but what if in XXX years time....won't you need it....won't you miss it:eek::D

I know how you feel. I am down to a paltry two pre-power combos, three sets of speakers, two CD players, two integrated amps, a minidisc player and a cassette deck, and a couple of boxes of valves!.

Good luck with the sale - as I said, very good VFM for any buyer. I am a big fan of Cambridge Audio.
