Sony MDS-JE520, £20 from British Heart Foundation, very pleased with it so far :)

My brother steviej233 has a jbs-940 that has just come out of his system, and I know he wants to sell it,how much are you looking to spend?

That's mine, the middle unit. A Pioneer MJ-D707 and I love it.

It's very nice to use and if I record from my Meridian 507 CD player the MD playback is virtually indistinguishable from the Meridian, amazing!

No good to you, Al. . . Can't play cassettes on them. . .
Think you'll be impressed. What you feed in is what you get out, as Geoff says. None of ya faffing about with bias and cassette types.

Not looking to invest much so up to about £50 , I have seen some at the boot sales in the past so may see whats about

I have a sony mds-je530. Excellent machine but I don't use it anymore.
