I will be looking for a pre-amp to go in front of a decware zen DIY build.
I have only had experience with the Icon LA3 before, which I though was excellent for the price, and would be looking at a similar price range (~£250)
One thing that has interested me is a passive pre, although I don't know if it would be suitable with various input voltage/impedance matching issues, or so I have read.
I was also looking at the Antimode Dual core in the future which could be another option and use that as a Pre with a separate input switch box.
Anyone used the Antimode as a dedicated pre?
