I have read quite a few comments from users. It does appear it works best with the Groovy Pouch. I don't like the oven heating method as I tried it unsuccessfully using two plates of glass. You need strict temp control. You could try one of these if you're flush.

Glass plates are no good i'd have thought because of the protruding record label area & flair at the start of the vinyl would cause an issue! i was thinking about trying to remove slight dish surface i have with some new vinyl awell as warpes..

However could i have feedback for someone who has used this Vinylflat & pouch method ?

I've been through phases when buying records that arrive warped but none recently. Out of about 1,000 records I can't think of one that has a significant warp. Maybe it's due to keeping my records stored firmly and upright (not too firm). Some that were warped originally seem to be ok now.

Yeah, I put a warped record between glass matt, and glass platter. Left it in the oven too long:doh::mental:

Anybody need a DSOTM cover?

Just to clarify it's the Groovy Pouch i'm intending on using, not an oven!

Back in the day, I found that two pieces of glass and a couple of hours of sunshine were all that was required.
