Which model ?
Well, the ones that show on a more regular basis are the Kubs/Kolts...
edit: Might also be interested in a pair of JBL L20T3/ JBL L1.

Good luck finding some Kolts, I have a pair and they are the only pair I have seen for sale in the past couple of years.
Kubs come up quite often though.
Was more keen on the Kubs aswell, but I'm left wondering how they both sound, being the Kolt so small and a sealed enclosure? Have you ever had the chance to compare both?

I found the Kubs far too rough & ready up top if you know what I mean ? That cone tweeter isn't very good IMO.

I have not compared the two, never heard the Kubs.
The Kolts are supposed to be a lot higher in the range, designed as broadcast monitors to take on the LS3/5A directly.
They use a Seas 11F-GX Mid bass and a Seas Tweeter (IIRC) rather than the OEM mid bass and cone tweeter in the Kubs.
The Kolts lack deep bass but I used them for a long time without a subwoofer.

It's not so much that it's a bad tweeter per se, but it IS set several db up in level over the upper midrange and below, this making it scream-n-spitch in the wrong setup. Huge fun back in the day and we sold dozens of pairs.
Funny, I thought it was the other way around! Will be on a lookout for the Kolt's on the usual places then, maybe lady luck smiles on me. Thanks lads.
Apart from my personal experiences with 'em in past decades, check the 'Choice reviews of the period for objective confirmation.

That sounds about right, they are better with a vinyl source IME. I tried them in 2 "modern" solid state/CD source system & the results were dire.
It will take some time to find a pair ehehe, maybe I'll send a message to Peter Keeley himself.
