I've just got (last week - set up yesterday!) a standard Gyro SE as a warranty replacement that I might be putting up for sale in the next few weeks. Haven't decided if it's for me yet. No arm or lid with it but I do have a 5mm Achromat for it.

Been there done it, i keep meaning to make an in depth list of what ive owned, well i do but a few days later on i remember another :lol:

Joking aside. If i could live with a modern looking Turntable (Which i could'nt) or at least find a single ounce of intrest in specialised Hi-Fi (Which i certainly don't have) hence i could'nt justify spending a grand on, no intrest! it would definatly be a J.A Michell 'Gyrodec'. One of the very few serious turntables i liked at one time..

Yes, the AT-1100 has straight and 'S' arm-tubes available. The bearing housings are very similar, and also that on the AT-1120, which leads to much confusion!

That's it then that's what i had on my Luxman 'PD300' in the 80's..They are confusing your right..I remember the straight tube having a higher mass than the tuther
