Here are a couple of shots of the coast here in Lincolnshire. One is of an old wreck of a Comet Tank and the other is of a military warning sign.

Here's another shot taken of Tetney Marsh close to Cleethorpes in Lincolnshire. It is a very lonely place where thunderstorms skid across the landscape.

Yet another shot of Tetney Saltmarsh. This really is an amazing place when there is a good thunderstorm going on but make sure you are in your car...!

Shaun those are damn fine photo's, I am getting homesick looking at them. The coastline where I lived as a kid was very similar to this plus I lived in north Norfolk for a while in the nineties :eyebrows:

Amazing images, as usual, Shaun! Your pictures always evoke an intensity of passion for the subject matter that you're recreating, which consistently elevates your work to a level beyond that of anything else I've seen on-line.

Love it, dude. Keep the magic of film photography alive!

Marco.

I can almost smell the air there Shaun, it is quite unique to such areas. I do so miss living near the coast ;)

I feel for you Dave as I am so happy I decided to relocate back to the seaside after seven years away. For the rest of this summer and autumn I shall be concentrating on taking some images here as I would love to shoot a thunderstorm over here. I am so glad to be back where I belong.

This is the nearest I have ever got to photographing a storm on its approach to North Lincolnshire and the salt marshes. This was taken back in 2004 but is a digital shot.

I would highly recommend Holkham Hall Nudist Beach

A superb beach, and nice and secluded to get your kit off !!!!:lol:

The remains of Godwin Gun Battery at Kilnsea in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This is a fabulous place to visit on a glorious, sunny, summers day.

Theddlethorpe, Lincolnshire taken around 2007 with a Nikon F5 fitted with a Nikon 18mm lens. Film was Kodak EBX100 colour slide film. I just love this coastline so much.

Ive been to Cleethorpes today. Left work at 8:00am hopped straight on the train to Doncaster, had to switch to a Coach from the bus station because of the track maintinence, it cost us two £20 return (thats for the both of us) mega bargin tickets :eyebrows: anyhoots it was a nice day but the wind was a bit bitter..

I wonder what that used to belong to, where it came from, and what happened to the ship? Wrecks like that always intrigue me, especially if something sinister might have occurred...

Ghostly images of the boatman of the dead. It was quite spooky shooting these photographs on such a drab day.
