Rega Planar 2 TT

Up for sale due to a very slight upgrade is my faithful Planar 2 turntable. I'll start with the worst, the lid has a weird mark like someone has laid a hot carpet grabber on the top (pictured) and it could just do with a good buff up. It does what is says though, covers the TT from dust so job done.

It has the RB250 arm with the OE counterweight and plastic stub. I have the RB300 100g tungsten counterweight that can be negotiated into the price of course. The 'headshell' shows only the faintest marks of cart fitting, which i have also tried to illustrate below. There is the glass platter that can usually be found on the Planar 3 and the plinth itself is in absolute tip-top condition. I have removed the cartridge to fit on my new TT, but there will be the option of one of two Rega carts to get you going while you find something better.
