These mains cables were supplied with a pair of mono-block amplifiers I bought from Germany. They are surplus to requirement and so are advertised for sale.

They are 1.6m long (connector interface to interface) fitted with a standard 10A IEC line socket at one end and a 16A Schuko CEE7/7 plug at the other.

Sadly I can’t tell you too much about them, however I have had a look inside the connectors and the cable used looks to be industrial 3-core cable of 16A rating (2.5mm² conductor cross-section area) with a braided screen/armour. The screen/armour is connected to the earth at one end only, at the ground contact of the Schuko plug. The assembly is excellent (something I’m slightly obsessive about) and very neat.
The overall cable is covered with a black mesh sleeving, as can be seen from the photograph and has an OD of 13mm. Despite appearances these cables are more flexible than they look.
Should one wish to replace the Schuko plug with a UK 13A plug, given the large gauge of the conductors and the overall outer diameter of the cable, plugs made by Furutech would need to be used. Or if you prefer to use Schuko connectors and have a distribution strip fitted with the appropriate sockets, then the plugs can be retained.
These are sold as a pair at £30 including carriage. PM me if interested.
