I enjoy looking at old tat so just posting some places to visit as and when i do not Hifi orientated but of general interest for people who like things from the past
With help from fellow Engine Club (http://www.seams-stationaryengclub.co.uk/about-us)members we organised a coach trip down to this little gem of a museum near Bristol and what a place it is, all owned and collected by one man, the place was packed to the rafters with all sorts of "Treasures" from the past, well worth a visit with things of interest for boys and girls that will certainly take you down memory lane, the old enamel advertising signs are worth a look on their own as they total nearly 2000 now
No vintage hifi but a few cases had some new old stock Boxed valves and there were odd few valve radios knocking about.

As we were in the area we shot over to the Cliffton Suspension Bridge (http://www.cliftonbridge.org.uk/) Just coming up to 150 years old and still in fine shape, we took a stroll over it on what was a fairly rough day, makes you fell a bit giddy as it slightly moves in the breeze, it's certainly a long way down when you peer over the side, English engineering at it best.
