Atlas Equator

For the last twenty years or so I have been happily using Van Den Hul D102 MkIII HB interconnects but a week ago I just bought a set of Atlas Equators to try them out. My God what a difference. Gone is the grainy, coarse treble and gone is the overblown, loose floppy bass. I now have an amazing amount of detail and resolution, a fabulous sharp treble and the most amazing bass definition. These new cables are truly amazing compared to the old VdH's.

I guess it would be easy to say that things move on apace over a twenty year period but VdH are still producing these cables and people are still buying them.

Had a loan of the Hyper further up the range.
Fantastic sounding cable, wide open mid and top end, really let you into the mix in a way I hadn't heard before.

The bass was very stop start with no trace of bloat.

You could have done similar, twenty years ago, instead of buying the VDH.

It doesn't have as far to travel so it's not so tired which makes it sound better.
