Looking 70's-tastic there Andre!

My guess is it will be this fella's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham_Taylor) least favourite colour... :eyebrows:

Nice day again today & nothing to do at work sho i thought id make a start on a Radiator cover for my man cave, i agreed to keep it in matching with the others i already made, so no 60's influence here.

Phil who i look after likes to watch me woodworking so he's happy enough watching.. I've just the fancy grills & fancy mould to fit & it's ready for painting.. I'll get to taken up home termorrer..

You could add some funky 60s fabric for the grills.

I covered one of my absorbers a while back with a piece of old fabric purchased off Fleabay for £10. Looks rather funky I think...:eyebrows:

I am just keeping my eye open for a suitable piece for the ither one.

Back on the job, just making this Fuzzy storage which will double up as where the stereo sits ontop. My feelings about specialised racks is it's ok for those who believe they need it ;) There's another piece to fit underside with adjustable feet, without this piece it just looks like a general 80's flat pack unit :nono:

Incase your wondering what all the comic pages are, thats what it's gonna be covered in :eyebrows:

Suspect it will remain a mystery - as does Marco's "dungeon", where Tabatha lives and 'works'. :eyebrows:

I had a look at your 'tumbnail' image - and that is exactly the sort of unit I'm after. :)

So, no posting crap - I'm in awe of your craftmanship.

I remember us having a green a nd cream version of that wavy wallpaper design in the front room, those were happy days :)

Rare Bird

those were happy days :)

You've hit the nail on the head there so to speak, you see i hate living in our day & age, i hate the state of the country, i hate people (they have changed in so many ways) etc etc. You see creating a false world to live in from a time years ago when i was happy as a kid, a time where products were quality,a time were music was music, you only bought a foreign product as a luxury item not something that's made abroad to cut down manufacturing costs. I time that is just so attractive to me.. i could go on all day..

So you see living in a home full of things from said era, listerning to music, TV programmes etc etc from that era is what im about.

+ 1 without the Hate , We have to live with it and make the most of it unfortunately

Rare Bird

I don't have to live with it but put up with it. Hate is a strong word but todays day & age make's me angry & unhappy so i think 'Hate' is a good enough word
