Mordaunt Short MS-30 (Epos ES-11) Speakers

More of my gear not being used...

Mordaunt Short MS-30 speakers, in very good condition with barely a mark on them, I have mentioned the Epos ES-11 in the title as these are almost identical!! Same designer apparently (Robin Marshall). They have the same Poly-Prop mid/bass driver with the rubber surround and phase plug, and the same cast alloy basket. Same 1" ally dome tweeter. And the same front and rear type baffles, only minor cosmetic detail changes in the front baffle give them away. They are the same four long bolt design holding the front and rear baffles together, with a centre internal cross brace. Superb rigidity!
Also rear ported.

All in all superb speakers, they can be Bi-wired/amped but have the original bi-wire links in place. I am selling them complete with the original MS stands complete with floor spikes.

Great speakers and original MS 'Lego brick' stands too!! I like those. In fact, I like those a lot.

Come on someone, grab 'em quick otherwise I'm going to be forced to and I really don't need any more speakers!

What would the postage cost be to London? I need a small set of speakers with bi-wiring option for my lab set up.

Does anyone have compared these to lets say... the Pageant's 2 or the MS35 Ti?

I can't speak for the Pageants but I have heard the 35Ti and the 30's walk all over them! The 35Ti's seemed a bit 'flabby' to me whereas the 30's bass is nice and tight,

I don't honestly know what they would cost to post, at this stage I'm after them being collected as I have no packaging available.

Pageants are from a different, more efficient yet far more coloured past. Not a problem, but the MS30 and the smaller one (or was it a slightly bigger one?) were bang up-to-date designs with absolutely minimal crossovers (as the earlier Epos 11 and 14 models) and an easy clarity as a result. Hope they've gone to a good home :)
