WTB - budget amp for my second system up to £100

Like the title says. What have you got?

I'll be using it with my Ditton 15s and USB DAC in a PC based system in the office. I'm looking into a few options including vintage receivers, Fatman tube thingies, and the usual T-amp suspects. Just thought I'd see what was available here...

Nad 3020a works VERY well with the 15's and as a bonus has a nice phonostage + you should get change from £70 for a new record or two :cool:

Cheers Rob, the amp will be doing desktop duties so and I might need other inputs and the volume control arrangement looks a bit fiddly for my purposes.

I have a NAD C315BEE, mint condition, remote and boxed. Award winning, lots of inputs, headphone socket, front input for MP3 player and remote control.

Its going off to that auction site next week but will sell for £100 inc. delivery.

ALL thirty year old amps will need some sort of service with supply recaps etc so be warned. Once you take this into account, then the world is your oyster with some good vintage cheap amps still out there.

Couple of suggestions from my experience including the NAD 3020A - A&R A60, Rotel from their 1980's "BX" ranges, Creek 4040 and 4140, Onix? You might be lucky to see a "clamshell" Rega Brio for around this price and there are hundreds of other choices (I love the Sony V-FET amp from the mid 70's but these will definitely need some dry joints and diodes looking at if a terminal bonfire - amp and speakers - is to be avoided..)

All the above should be good with Ditton 15's I think and should come in for or under budget :)
