Artists usually make their living from live performance, rather than recorded music sales. Streaming is great for those with large CD collections who can rip to hdd, store their CDs away (NOT flog 'em) and have less physical clutter in their lives - some even ditch their stereo's in favour of small active speakers with DAC's already on board, but for "us" that's probably taking things a bit too far, even though common sense might support this action in all too many cases :lol:
