Hello all,
I have a woofer speaker, and I can't found any information about it. I want to build a subwoofer but i can't proceed without this information and specification.
I need to know Equivalent Volume (Vas) , Frequency Range, Free Air Resonance (Fs) etc... I want to calculate with "Speaker Volume Calc" the dimensions for ported box, and i want to build it an Amplifier + LPF too (I have to because I modding my amplifier, its a stereo amp and I adding a Pre Out outputs).

The links work ok, though (for me.)

I don't know the model of driver and there's nothing obvious on the net.

I'm assuming that's an 8" unit. It seems to have a fairly wide rear suspension spider along with a rubber roll surround that should give a pretty low resonance, depending on cone mass.

I don't think it would be unreasonable to hazard a guess at around 30Hz.

The magnet looks quite hefty, so I expect the driver is intended for use in ported enclosures.

The links don't work for me - they just take me to a 'sign up' page, which I'm not prepared to do..

Happy to oblige to the limit of my limited knowledge. ;)

I think you could probably use these drive units in a reflex cabinet, but also and much more fun a transmission line system. Worth checking out. Loads of enclosure designs on the net! (and crossover designs)

Looks a good unit and made for moving some air going by the size of that rubber surround,
the vented magnet pole piece to cool voicecoil/magnet to aid high power handling or prolong high volumn usage
where over heating of voicecoil and magnet could lead to drop in sound quality,
as Geoff said it looks hefty and in a right box could go down low.

The speakers were made in Japan according to the info on it. That alone makes them worth a fair bit.
The CM brand rings a bell, but I can't remember off hand the full name. Got to look it up.

Thank you all, but still i need the accurate values for knowing how to design the box.
I found a tutorial that helps to measure those values, Can I post here the website, or its illegal?
