Sansui au 919 - 120 to 240v mod help needed

As members may or may not gathered I have been after one of these for a while. They seem to be quite common in he USA but not the uk, so I was wondering how easy it is to convert one of these over to 240 volts

you could use a variac/autotransfomer from about a tenner assuming the unit is dual frequency - 50/60hz

What, changeable with an intrinsic pcb switch?

You have to take the bottom panel off on these, near the the transformer there will be a "pin board" with a jumper to select input voltage.

For any US market Sansuis, check the photos of the rear panel carefully. Many are multi-voltage units which can be reconfigured in a matter of minutes, however some are not.

For example, note this US market amp with the 120V sticker on the rear. It clearly shows a range of voltages printed on the rear panel:
