FS: Meitner Museatex PA6i pre-amp

A really, really nice solid state pre-amp from the legendary (no, really, he is!) Ed Meitner.

3 boxes - the pre itself, a remote control receiver and a PSU.

Lovely wood, with a few light scratches! Look at those photos - wonderful!

Lots of inputs and outputs including a very fine MC phono stage. Balance control, too!

RRP is $2,600, I think.

Yours for a mere £500 inc UK delivery by DHL. Or swappsies, of course, I'm always interested in new kit.

This is one of those components that just sounds 'right'!

It actually (to my ears) sounds more "valvey" than my new WAD Pre2 valve pre-amp.

Updates
The PLUS Upgrade: After years of mentally compiling a wish list of enhancements for the PA6i, Ed Meitner decided to put it all together as a package and call it the "PLUS" upgrade. This suite of modifications involves changes to:

The floating charge power supply, which now becomes a true choke-input filter.
The circuitry and signal path, which has been redefined and more thoroughly decoupled.
The grounding scheme, which has been made more direct.
