I can't find much info at all about these, but believe them to be the Griffin
25. Again I believe they use a Kef bass unit and I know they use a Coles tweeter. These a pretty easy to drive and are extremely well made and very heavy for their size. Cabinets in very good condition, apart from a few light scuffs

£35 the pair. Ideally these would need to be collected. If they are to be couriered we would need to talk about packaging etc

It's a Celestion HF1300 tweeter - edit, apparently it isn't! (Bob?) Griffin had some very interesting ideas on speaker voicing and speaker design in general, but this range was charismatic and for this price, well worth a punt methinks :)

Thanks for that vote of confidence. I bought these simply for their rarity value and they have not really had the limelight. Now I am moving to a headphone system they have to go. I believe they use aperiodic tuning (there is a long port inside with a foam bung in the end)?

It's not a Celestion HF1300 tweeter. it's a Coles item, similar looking though! There's also a Fane tweeter that looks like these.

Those look nice. I'd buy them if I had room.

I put another pair of Griffins on here last year. Not sure (again) which model they were, but they had the bass unit that is used in the original LS3/5A.
