Any nice old Quad 303s kicking about?

Well as the title suggests really.

I'm looking for a nice, preferably serviced Quad 303 power amp in decent cosmetic condition. The mains socket and rca plug modifications along with original packaging and instruction manual would be nice but that's in an ideal world and as long as David Camoron's in power we aint ever going to have that!

Just need it to work properly, look tidy and not be in imminent danger of exploding really.

I live in Wellington Somerset if there happens to be one locally but I doubt that very much.

Give us a shout if anything springs to mind.

Theres a nice example on ebay at the moment Charlie. C/w 33 and tuner but you can always sell those off.

I have one Charlie.

Its a very late one with an original and proper IEC plug socket (not a conversion from the more normal Bulgin socket)

The amp was fully serviced about 2 years ago at the Vintage Quad Clinic in Wakefield and fitted with upgraded caps.

Its a pretty good looker given its age too, some marks on the chassis but nothing too bad, and no bent / broken heat sink fins etc.

Pm me if its of interest it may be a bit dearer than the offering on Ebay but it is a nicely restored and fully working example.

Many thanks for that, can't log on to the site at the moment, seller says collect only but he doesn't mention from where :scratch: bit pricey as well really if I'm being honest.

To be honest that Ebay set that sold for £320 in Haworth is probably the best deal I have seen for quite sometime, these things are starting to creep up in price and a fully serviced set with restored casework is a real rarity (Provided the colours on the casework are accurate which I understand can be difficult to acheive)
