hi everyone, my proper names nigel, i guess a few word about meself. i've been a music and gear fan ever since i can remember. first music memory was SUBSTITUTE by the who, sitting on my potty in 1965, i was 2 years, loved em and almost all guitar music since. my first system was a garrard sp25, teleton amp and old musiccentre speakers, after many sideways 'upgrades' theres not been much improvement!!! presently its a revolver deck with linn basik, roksan candy cd, marantz pm6004 and q 2050i speakers.

ac/dc when they were DEEPLY unfasionable!! lots of stuff in a similar vein from montrose, van halen, the mighty iron maiden, early aerosmith etc. a teen love of punk has endured (unlike my hair) with the clash, pistols, jam, dead kennedys, sham 69, cock sparrer and cockney rejects etc still on rotation. classic 60s stuff from beatles, kinks, beach boys, zombies, small faces, the byrds etc also features although my software buying seems to have tailed off recently with SPOTIFY filling the breach.....discovering the 'proper' stereo mix (as opposed to the original hard panned version) of 'sloop john b' by beach boys almost made me weep with joy....sounds like it was recorded if not yesterday then last month.....maybe!!!

Lots of classic HM I saw AC/DC with Bon Scott great live band then and love Montrose I use to have a live recording from the Recording plant 1974 and saw Van Halen with Roth back around 79
These days I just use spotify to discover new artists as my file based stuff is in another league
