Plinius CD-LAD Fully balanced line level pre, with remote, double box packing, user manual etc. In first class condition. £650 or swap.

Next is a Beard P100 KT88 Valve power amp. This has a full compliment of Beard's own branded valves. Very powerful yet delicate amplifier capable of driving most things, including insensitive speakers. £700 or swap.

On to this, a Yamaha PC4002M solid state power amp of epic proportions. 450wpc into 8ohms. 1/4 jack and balanced input (supplied with jack/rca converters, and a set of xlr/rca leads, or xlr/xlr). 4mm binding posts for speakers. The lid needs painting, but an easy job by anyone's standards. The VU meters work perfectly, and look stunning when in use. This is a real power house with total control, but is super neutral in presentation.
£350 or swap.

Next is the gargantuan Sherwood TEMA-A1 (not to be confused with the cheap AV products. This is a very different animal!). 250wpc into 8ohms. True dual mono construction and built to a very high standard. This is a big amp! and one where I cannot say the pics make it look bigger than it is. £600 or swap.

The 3 power amps have no original packaging and are heavy. The beard, 35kg. The Tema, 40kg. And the Yam, 43kg. Collection or a meeting would be the best way to transport these :^.

The rest can be shipped, at cost, and under the buyers responsibility. Collection/ demo is prefered.

If it's Krell you want, come and have a listen to a BEARD P100 :). You can also tailor it easily by changing tubes at not a massive cost. You're less than an hour up the road too.

This was a 3k power amp though. So will only depreciate beyond this price by single pounds, not hundreds.

I should have been a bit more specific with my original swap request.

The dac I am looking for needs to be something a bit special. My entire front end is digital, yet is where I have invested least in the system.

The cd player would need to better my Lyngdorf cd-1.


I have no issue with trading several of my items, for the right one of yours etc.
All of these bits are surplus here. Except for the pre's. One of them is in use.

I only mentioned it as I have heard it described by others as a valve Krell.
Can I point you toward the TEMA?
