Thats it, here's one for the AOS collective to have a right good old laugh at.

I was having a chat the other night regarding how i had no intrested in Hi-Fi technicalities anymore. It all about the 1960's/Early 70's sound & asthetics of Equipment with me, not getting my Turntable to pretend it's a CD player :lol: . I live the era & will do till i pass away.

All my serious (:lol:) Hifi is now gone. I bought the below with suits me to the ground. A service, new belt & cartridge is all it requires from me.All here ready & waiting.

Anyway enter the Sansui 'SR2050C' the 'C' btw denotes the model comes with their own Cartridge. perfect for my vintage man cave. :D

I have to say music far more important for me than my kit. My kit is by no means hi end, or even close. I was going to venture into croft kit last year, but with the boiler breaking down and needing replacing etc the saved cash was no more.
The enjoyment from playing music on my systems far outweighs the feeling or need to box swap/ improve etc, in fact i would say i am quite content with things as they are right now and would rather spend any cash on music.
I must say i do have an urge to try some vintage speakers, and am enjoying julians thread on his new/old Tannoy speakers.

One of my friends has an all-in-one 'hi-fi', which he uses with an old pair of Sony speakers (the ones with the square drive units).

This morning I went to his house and he played Nat King Cole, from a box set bought for 50p in a local charity shop.

The thing is, it sounded quite nice. Mellow and diffuse it was but quite okay for the 1950s recordings. Musical!!

Well for the intrested i went to pick up the Parcel from the Sorting Office today.

Amazing packing resulted in the deck getting here in one piece.. What a loverly TT very well built. I'll probably try my Denon 'DL110' in it but im planning Pickering 'XV15/625E'..

Any hoots it wants a good old clean & service, rewire the arm & fit a new arm cable.. but it's clear to me it's a minter just how i like things..

I do need the original Headshell as the one fitted is a cheap ortofon with 'VMS3/2'.

Can't wait to get it rigged up in my late 60's/early 70's timewarp man cave :eyebrows: This is a keeper that's for sure.. The best £125.00 i spent for a long time.
