pre amp

hi all, is it possible to have the pre amp section of my marantz pm8003 improved ? i used a caiman dac for a while as a pre and it an it brought a more open sound, the caiman went to fund a bushmaster, which i love, but do miss the benefits that the caiman acting as pre brought. i could of course buy a new amp or a pre but really dont want another box , any suggestions> cheers jim

How long? I keep putting off my bushmaster purchase because vintage gear temps me sooner.. I'm sure I could slowly syphon off money to a savings account for a bushmaster without myself noticing.

Well I recently bought one of these from this seller and it's the best pre-amp (level control) I've ever used! It is a TVC unit and about a fifth of the price of a Music First unit.

A few technical delays that were not expected. But one of my beta testers on AoS (whose identity I cannot disclose in case he gets mugged) will hopefully have the delta version in his hands for sonic testing within the next few days.
