FS Rega DAC

Due to an upgrade I'm selling my Rega DAC . The DAC is in excellent condition and comes in original box with all cables and paperwork .
This DAC also comes with a Rega clone mains cable ( the mains cable which they supply with their high end equipment ) and a clover leaf adaptor for use with aftermarket mains cables.
I'm looking for £350 plus £15 postage . Now Sold.

Got the chance of a dared I30 valve amp with a built in DAC at a price I couldn't refuse . It's taken me a couple of weeks to make a decision because this is my first valve amp and at first I didn't know what to make of it . It sounds very different to the Rega DAC / Brio R combination which I was using and which has given me so much pleasure over the past year or so . Having lived with the valva amp, and changed a couple of cables , I really like what it does . It was a close call however as the Rega combo is really something special . However I've discovered that I prefer the sound of the valve amp more . TBH with you if I could I would hold on to both but I need to sell the Rega combo to help finance the purchase of the valve amp . Got a lot of reading up on valve amps to do now :scratch:

Thanks to local dealer Scott Nangle ( Daytona 600 on AOS ) BTW who gave me a home trial of the amp and gave me enough time to make a decision. A real gentleman .

Aye, no bad. Busy as you say, working this weekend. On a course this week so at home for a change, so will get a chance to finish off the balanced power supply I'm building. Also have a very very good 300b SE amp coming today hopefully, and also just got a pair of Adire HE10's, 95db dual concentric speakers a la Tannoy but using a 10 inch driver.

Oh yes, forgot the pair of Lowther DX3's I got recently, haven't done anything with them yet, will try them on my OB's.

:lol: Gary's right mate . I've been listening to this amp all day today and everything I play through it sounds stunning . I can't tear myself away . I'm nightshift tonight so I need to get a couple of hours kip soon . I think I'll have to take it to bed with me :lol: You can always get in touch with Scott next week :)

Nice one Brian, I had a similar experience when I took delivery of my valve amp, they really get under yer skin and I couldn't stop listening to music. Still can't... :D

And you would have been very welcome mate . I've made some very good friends on here since I joined almost 2 years ago. My system has changed beyond all recognition and I'm listening to my music much more these days. :)
