What's the question

Andre, I see that your objectionable comments on the other thread have been removed (either by you or mods) and therefore I have no intention of dignifying your crassness and attention seeking behaviour by continuing this any further. I suggest you do what you normally do in these situations and spit your dummy out, stomp off like a child and say you're packing in the forum. Ring any bells?

Hey if we were all the same that would be a boring old world

Of course it would but some people seem to be so perfect.

What it is i'm my own man with my own ideas aswell as my own outlook on life, i don't let people carve my way of life..What is 'de rigueur' in modern life, i totally refuse to comply with it all..However this seems to be a very bad thing according to a lot of people.

Hey fellas... As someone who has felt the wrath of one or two long-standing AOS members very recently, I know what it's like and it ain't pleasant, even if subsequent hands-on experience of things you had a hunch about are proved correct in the end.

We all need to take a few days out sometimes, and it helps still the brain and aids reflection. I don't think you're "odd" Andr'e at all, just someone absolutely dedicated to his craft and like me, someone who has the pee taken out of him sometimes.

There's a bit I could say, but I won't . . . but I don't think you're odd Andre, what's odd anyway?, we are all unique ;)

Could someone tell me what this pish is about? What "other thread" is relevant? I've been out all day and just got in. Cheers!

Marco.

Hi Marco. The thread is "very excited now" the offending posts by Andre have now been removed. I don't know if Andre removed them or the mods but in my opinion they were disgraceful and I said so. TBH I was fairly restrained.

OTT ;) I sent Martin a PM explaining that i never even read the Thread at all i just glimpsed at the last post which was yours.. As you & me always cross swords I just thought your posting amusing on that instance being different in style to what i usually see, thats it, if you think it was a laugh at what the thread was about fine, you believe that. but i can assure you it wasnt.

Now how about my Oddness eh!

Sorry Andr'e, I don't remember your PM and certainly didn't understand the relevance. I don't even know what thread we're talking about!

I must be having a mental block then, Harry. So where is this thread?

I think he means the wrong Martin - i.e. not you, rather than you are wrong?

This is like watching a tennis doubles match where nobody seems sure who serve's next...

As I see it, André's only faux pas was that he hadn't been keeping up with events on the thread and therefore made a comment that appeared to be very ill judged by those who had been. I am sure we have all been guilty of this at some point... ;) Now André is aware of the circumstances he has done his level best to make amends, however I will say that having done so you have sort of shot yourself in the foot by posting this thread André...

Hi Andr'e,

I didn't see the posting that seems to have caused a stir, but as it's now removed and I suspect any 'stepping on toes' was inadvertant, I'd say it's 'water under the bridge' now.

I normally enjoy what you have to say and generally agree with your various viewpoints. Some people regard me as a bit eccentric sometimes, but I have a thick skin and don't particularly give much of a toss quite honestly. I think you should carry on regardless!

Geoff: i could give two rats arses about Harry he's the least of my problems.

Regarding Martin, i PM him & appologised admitting that i never read a single bit of what the initial thread was about, hence never intended it being a laugh at his speaker issues. i inadvertently put my foot in it so to speak.

So at the end of the day it was a bit of humour but wrong timing.

Yup - it was just a misunderstanding. So can we close the thread now, chaps? I really don't want it degenerating into something unpleasant.

Now might be a good time to point out that there is an 'Ignore' option in everyone's User Control Panel. Rather than waste valuable storage space on the database complaining about people you don't like, just add them to your ignore list and get on with the rest of your life :)

Unfortunately, the option doesn't work for Admin or Mods, so please, for our sanity, if you don't like someone, ignore them for us.

Marco

Yup, and on that note, folks, we'll wrap things up!

Marco.
