In the next few weeks I will be after a 6 way extention block. I was going to go for this one, which seems to be highly regarded - http://markgrantcables.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=45_59&products_id=193

But it is shown as sold out/out of stock. (I have emailed them)

Can anyone suggest an alternative around the same price £150 - £200 that I should consider?

Have you had a look at Sound Fantastic range at Olson.co.uk
these are made especially for audio equipment there price's are quite keen
£125 = 4 way
£135 = 6 way
£145 = 8 way
A friend of mine is using them in his Karato reference system and is very pleased with the results.

That looks to be a good deal Neil. I presume I will need a power cord for it?

I wish the ad was a little clearer and the picture was bigger!

Serious question - why not get Belkin AV isolator (20 quid!) and save remaining cash towards proper mains conditioning unit? Those "audiophile" blocks - do they really offer that much improvement over something like AV Isolator?

Yes, you'll need to fit a power cord. They recommend Supra LoRad 2.5mm cable, which I use.
