View Full Version : Lenco GL75 spare parts
Evening all, my neighbour has just aquired an early Lenco GL75 for which she paid a princely sum of £30, it is a bit tatty and could do with a good old clean up, we played around with the arm ( which l believe) is a Goldring L75, it seems to play ok,however the VTF weight/stylus pressure weight is missing, so can any one post a link for Lenco spares, thanks chaps.:)

Do you mean the main counterweight? There's two on Ebay at £10/£18.
Hi Stephen, no not the main weight, the VTFweight/ stylus pressure weight, the small cylinder that goes on the long rod parallel with the arm- l should have known about e-bay:doh:, the funny thing the arm seems ok without it:scratch:, however neighbour said she saw the weight on it before her friend sold it to her but like all these things the item can no longer be found.:(

Hi Andy, lots of useful info and spare parts can be found here - http://www.lencoheaven.net/
You should check out whether the 'v blocks' are worn as this is often the case with old Lenco arms.

Two weights on the '75' arm the Main counterbalance weight & the side Rider weight, i can assure you i know which is which, It doesnt take a brain surgeon anyway if you look at the centre bore
However you now have one it seems

According to Lenco heaven it is the barrel that goes on the VTF outrigger, ( this they name it as; VTF weight/ stylus pressure weight? Looks like the image to the right, certain it is not the counterweight as this is around five times bigger.

The small weight you want that slides on the outrigger is indeed what you set your VTF with. Tis the right image.
It's the smaller weight that I have and will send Andy. As i'm sure you all know, the vtf is set by moving this weight away from the bearing towards the headshell once the arm has been balanced out using the larger weight.
