For me - Physical Graffiti. Just voted it looks like The Wall and 'other' are winning at the moment.

I have always thought Out of the Blue by ELO was a cracking double album.

I suspect the best sellers will be - Michael Jacksons History and Floyds The Wall.

The White album for me.

I'm a Floyd fan too and The Wall is a deffo great album but I tend to never play the last side... It just loses steam half way through side C IMO. Saying that I'm not a Waters fan so that might have something to do with it.

I'll get my coat!

Are the longer versions of 'Brainstorm' & 'Time we left' worth having? (stupid question really...)

Another vote for Space Ritual.
Getting away from Hawkwind, how about this? Armstrong and Ellington "The Great Summit"

Huh. I never realised that this was originally a double album, having only ever owned the single CD issue (not the unfortunate remaster that was packaged with an additional disc of live material).

Nonetheless, a cracker!

The remasters reduce, if not remove, the distortion of the original vinyl. The additional tracks are from the Late Night Proms - Soft Machine were the first 'non-classical' artists to perform there.
