Hello all,
My name's Dave and I'm an audioholic.
I've been obsessed with all things AV for as long as I can remember and there's not much I like more than to chill out listening to music or watching a good movie or TV show.
I'm currently in the process of upgrading my Hi-Fi/Home Cinema system, so I'm hoping to get some advice on good value ways of getting a better sound and sharing my experiences with everyone.
I was recommended this forum by Stan Beresford when I was looking at buying his new 7520 DAC. After reading through some of the threads here as a guest I got bitten by the modding/upgrading bug and decided to join up so I could make a contribution.
I've dabbled with amateur electronics a little and high end in car audio over the years, along with various other related things. I work as an IT administrator so computers are important to me as well. Unfortunately my budget is fairly limited so I tend to direct my hobby focus on different areas in phases. Currently I'm focusing on Hi-Fi upgrades as It's nearly 8 years since my last big overhaul. :(
I'm in the process of sorting out some photos of my current system as "Dalek Supreme D L" suggested to me in his warm welcome in another thread.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to speaking to you all in the forum as you seem like a friendly bunch. :)
