I'm selling an almost new Grado Prestige Gold1 cartridge with around 10 hours on the stylus.

Unfortunately the Sony headshell I use doesn't have quite enough adjustment for me to quite get the sweet spot, so I've moved on . . .

Selling for £100 including UK postage.

Superb cartridge...and over £50 off the new price..nd you can see it's done next to nothing in the pic..probably not even played in...a little work to set it up right...but when its there it is a corker..you'll not find a better cart for a ton..

Thanks for the comment, Alan!

I've moved on and am now happily getting to know a Pickering XV15-625E and an SAE 1000E. The SAE is seriously good and I'm going back for its better brother, the 1000LT . . .:eyebrows:

<Sssh! Don't tell anyone>It came from here (http://www.zum-shop.de/Cartridges--HiFi-Manufacturer-SAE_c32-317-349_x1.htm) - not cheap, but I'm loving the way it sounds right from the off . . </Sssh!>

Edit:
(need to get some shorter bolts . . )

I did think of that, but thought it would look untidy () - have a set of various size bolts winging its way to me now . . . ;)

Or just shorten the bolts and use a little black paint.

The Gold "1" has some interesting updates over the previous soft toned Gold, namely a shorter cantilever (with extra damping on it by the look of it) and different windings (shorter?) in the coils in an attempt to reduce loading influences. Haven't heard it yet, but should tighten things up a little.
