In superb condition considering their age

Most importantly all drivers are mint and unmarked, and they still sound superb

They have sequential serial number

Offers around £300

Free stands supplied but stands have a little bit if rust on them but they are the perfect match for the speakers

Far too heavy to post so pick up from Portsmouth, PO2

I have about 20 pictures so if anyone wants to see any more just let me know

I'm not sure what the 't' version is. I've never heard of those

The LS7t had a titanium tweeter , and it could strip wallpaper ! The original which you have is far more civilised and rather nice .

Nice speakers these - good luck with the sale.
(Note: the LS7t's also had a hole in the top of the tweeter dome - the pierced nipple!)

Don't forget to add your photos!!

The LS7t's actually sounded quite nice after several years of thrashing....warm and cuddly even by today's 'standards'.

Good luck.

I have both, but have actually come to prefer the LS-7T even though one has a dented tweeter...anyone think it can be fixed/replaced?:)

The original LS7 is superb, my father has had a pair since 1987 and he will not change, they use a Celestion tweeter (from memory I think it is the HF1001) which I have always liked in conjunction with a Rogers in house bass driver.

The LS7t used a metal dome IIRC from MB Quart.

The T version was horrid when new and IMO done purely for fashion - BUT - having heard a fifteen year old pair when the chap wanted an upgrade elsewhere, I must admit that as said above, the tweeter had sweetened up and no longer made itself at all "obvious."

Lovely old speaker. I liked the cheaper LS6 too :)

I've got a pair of the LS7ts; I think it's a bit OTT to describe them as "horrid" when new, but they certainly have matured over the years :) A little like fine claret; a tad unpalatable when young, but supremely smooth and subtle when aged.

BTW, mine don't seem to have pierced nipples; where should I be looking? :eyebrows:

I have now updated the listing to include some pictures, more available on request

They have now been polished and to be fair they really are in super condition, I don't think anyone would be disappointed
