Wow! What an amazing system.
Love the CD storage units and the way you have 'rack mounted' the audio equipment. (Just hope that Threshold amplifier is well supported!) In fact I love the whole look of your listening room.
Where are the Yamaha speakers? Are they on the shelf, flanking the monitor?
Admirable collection of music you have there Dual. :)

They look like they are on the shelf under the records (on their sides)

Yes, that's what I thought.

Sweet lord you are one tidy dude...
Very nice, my wife just asked why we need to have all the wires on show.
Sweet lord you are [one] tidy dude... I just love that: thanks! I am. Put together too many recording studios. And thanks to all for their comments.
Yeah: NS1000's 'on their sides' in the wall unit, tv close to the floor. We originally had a 27" Sony tube set there, but of course times changed. There's nowhere else in the room a flatscreen could fit. Having it near the floor really isn't much of a problem: a bit below eye level, but if you're sitting on the sofa you don't even notice it. Similarly, the speakers don't flank the flatscreen properly L/R, but when a movie's on and that system's cranked with the 15" sub doing its thing, you don't really care.
The CD storage came from a company named Hills Products in New Hampshire, USA. The line is still available: check here (http://www.precisionhills.com/hills_products.htm). They have been subsumed into another corporation, but were a great company to do business with when I was putting this room together and as my CD collection expanded.
Thanks again for your comments here.

Love the Eames. I am going to get one at some point. Does it mess with the sonics, given the fact that your ears have a huge leather pad behind your head reflecting the sound?
