Related Spotify Query.

Right........I'm searching for a particular album by the band Family, its called "Music In A Dolls House" and I just cannot see it no matter what!
Many other Family albums are there, and on the same label too, so I don't think it's some kind of copyright issue or whatever.

Any suggestions guys as I can't see a reason why it shouldn't be there! :scratch:

I had/ have it on vinyl somewhere, from when it first came out! If I could find it, I'd rip it and use it that way, but just wonder why on earth it isn't coming up on Spotify! :steam:

I'm currently listening to "Old Songs, New Songs" which contains some tracks from
MIADH, but I really want them all, and in the right order!
It really is a brilliant album from local ish boys from Leicester, and did you know they used to own mobster Dutch Schultz's Packard in the 60's, and used to arrive at gigs in it? :)

Craig, its very common for an entire artists catalogue not to be available on Spotify and availability often changes too. I was listening to a Robert Cray album last year on Spotify and played it a number of times, its gone now though.

There are many reasons for this and rights to music can differ for the same artist, even when they have been produced by the same record company. It's a very complex playing field.

I don't rely on Spotify for listening for this specific reason, I use it mostly for discovery and then buy the album. Nothing more annoying than wanting to listen to an album, only to find its been removed from their playlist.
