Compared to some really great systems here, mine at best can be called so-so or mediocre at best. One thing though is I have room to grow.

I just love the clean lines of the room Mike. Wood floors always look nice, glad to see you have a nice carpet laid down.
Nothing mediocre about that set up Mike. I often wonder if my room is over damped compred to others I see on here. I like the spartan look but it conflicts with my lifestyle;)
I concurr - nothing mediocre at all.
And a lot less cluttered than my room.
Love the Breuer chair. Do you use it much; I would be afraid of the leather straps stretching and sagging?

Looks good to me! - although I cannot even begin to imagine having my music room look that tidy and uncluttered. :eyebrows:

Deck looks lovely Mike.
Great idea to use speaker stands as the support; really cool looking :)

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement, because there are some amazing systems here. I changed the door on the cabinet to a shorter one. Here's a new picture.
Sorry about the antenna ALFAgtv, we only have over the air HDTV.
The white skates under the spikes are Corian samples, but refrigerator super-slides from a home improvement store will work the same.
Rare Bird, yes the same Japanese manufacturer made both with a different badge. Incidentally studying the inside it has the same direct drive motor and electronics as the Rotel RP-3000. Fortunately the Lafayette (and Bose) have a better Jelco SA-200 arm.

Mrs Stup' would think there was something up if the hifi area was tidy. That said I really want one of those compulsive cleaners to come and live under the stairs.
All looks very smart LC!
