Hi all,

Just joined although I've been dipping in and out of the forum for a few months.

It seems to be the one where the most balanced and sane enthusiasts meet.

A little about me:

- old enough to remember (at school) the boy with the first Shure V15 Mk III

- I chose the Stanton 681EEE (for my ERA Mk 6 and SME 3009 Series 2)

- Blew up a friends Phase Linear 400 shortly afterwards (very costly)

- Owned four LP12s over the years

- Own four SMEs today - for a TD 124 Mk2

- And Denon DL103, Shure V15VxMR, Shure V15 MkIII (after all these years) ...and Stanton 681EEE

- Admit to a owning a MacBook Pro + Amarra

- Revisionism led to buying Rumours (again) - on vinyl - today.

- Which will probably be played more than the SHM-CD japanese import ripped into iTunes.

Thanks for the warm welcome Bev, Chris and Barry.

Barry - musical tastes run from jazz (just bought the latest Christian Scott) to rock (Steve Winwood - saw at Cheltenham Festival) via various other Brit artists (saw Ray Davies and Joan Armatrading last year as well - all were great) via some classical (Mahler's a favourite). A bit erratic really.
