as it says ,
no to be confused with the inferior 830 switchable A/B , this is the ltd edition of this amp , 50 lbs of pure class A (36 watts a side ) inputs , 4 x (aux) = 2 x tape 1 x aux 1 x tuner , the other inputs really set this amp apart , the finest (and yes been round the houses /scalford 2 years in a row ) simply the best phono stage i have heard , either stand alone / intgrated , the phono stage is superb , 1 x mc 2 x mm , so , controls , high / low filter , the subsonic is kind of unique , if you have flutter from your TT , this filter cuts the flutter to almost zero , WITHOUT loss of dynamics , the only one i have ever heard perform this , also , loudness (iirc) around 10 dbls , speakers off / channel 1 on , channel 2 on , channeles 1 + 2 on ,
I DO NOT WISH TO POST THIS , IT IS SUCH A RARE BEAST , i am not willing to put the mercy of minimum waghe chuckers ( no offence intended) rather see above 50 lbs in weight , so circa 40/50 postage , would much rather use the postage for deisel and deliver in person, so 50 notes i can do a 400 mile round trip , asking 300 notes or best offer , but be warned 99p return will be laughed at

How would you compare it against a marantz pm-80?

more head room , more inputs , there are 4 + 3 X PHONO 1 X MC 2 X MM , OH AND SHE CAN BE SPLIT FROM INTEGRATED TO USE AS A PRE , SOZ FOR SHOUTING typo doh , so simply as a pre 7 inputs , hi low filters loudness (circa 10 dbls) tone (bass treble , etc) as a pre amp it is probably worth a lot more , as an integrated it is superb , service this past week , sounding superb , very , very reluctland sale

Just looked at the pics on Audiokarma - wow - didn't know Denons like this even existed. 300 quid looks an absolute steal.

Great amp, I had a loan of it for a few days.

Superb phono stage.

This won't last. There was an 830 on e-bay last week, think the price was £450

Just checked that e-bay listing $425 plus $171 postage and then there will be customs charges.

I can post the link if it's allowed?

Why is it that just after I buy a new amp about half a dozen amps I have always wanted to try come up for sale on here? Legendary amp this for Denon fans anyways.

Used this amp in my system for a while..when Tommy first bought it..it is a stonker...superb with my Logic turntable..Love the phono stage..I know this is killing Tommy having to sell it..real 85 watts of grunt..crystal..The toroidal power supply is a monster..a clean example of this now very rare amplifier...If I had the money it would be a no brainer...I'd buy it in a snap...

The all grey model was the later one...still a lovely tt though...Mine has been refurbed..by me...haha...made the arm board from mahogany...and utilised banana plugs for the grub screws for the arm and the arm rest...Tonearm is a Decca London international unipivot..re-wired with silver wire..by Stewart Wen..who kindly gifted me the tabe, the arm and a lovely hadcock arm lift..a real gent..who I'm proud to know...and a genius to boot..
