A cracking cable. Just replaced the Hitachi interconnects with pair of The Bay and got far better upper end response and a better soundstage.
Makes me want to try their speaker cable.
Nice one, Jerry. I find VDH interconnects rather hit and miss. There are defo some corkers, as you've discovered, but there are also just as many, or more, duffers, which is quite frustrating.
However, the quality of their speaker cables seems to be rather more consistent. I can most certainly thoroughly recommend 'The Wind'. It's a superb sounding speaker cable (with some very effective and not commonly found features), but as it's a single conductor cable (meaning that you have to use two lengths per speaker: one for positive and the other for negative), it's not cheap! :)

Eeek! £100 per metre! That's enough to give me wind.
Is that what it's gone up to now? I think I paid about £60 a metre when I bought it 4 years ago.
Trust me, though, it'll piss all over most 'high-end' speaker cables costing considerably more! This stuff is veritable giant-killing material... :exactly:
Marco,
Just checked... You've got that wrong, Jerry. It's £25 per metre (x2), so effectively, £50 per metre:

Future Shop is where I got mine from - they're very good to deal with :)

Yea, sorry your right Marco, I misread an advert saying you needed 4 lengths.

Here is an ebay link Brian:

TBH I found these on the back of my DVD player so I swapped them and have stuck them on my t-amp for computer duties. I don't remember buying them, must have been a few years ago when prices were a lot cheaper.
