I got a Kindle for christmas and I must say, I am very impressed. It's light and convenient for reading in bed, loads of book choices; currently reading an SF omnibus that cost 0.49p!
I don't think I will give up books, I have always been a big reader and there must be about 3000 in the house. The two can live along side one another a bit like vinyl and digital files.
So, if you are a doubter-give one a go!

I quite agree - wifey got one two Christmases ago and loves it. Very convenient for bedtime reading, particularly with one of those cases that incorporate a LED reading light so as not to disturb a partner more interested in getting to sleep ;) . The automatic page marking facility is also very good, particularly for those that fall asleep whilst reading it  .

Dave! You have been quiet lately-how are the headaches?
Where are you up to with your Touch? I know you had problems with it but I don't remember if you got it sorted.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for asking but the CH is a real PIT head at the moment :steam:. My GP tried adding some new meds to the cocktail just before Christmas and that did not go well, so we've stopped that and upped one of the current meds. It's changed things but I can't say for the better.
I've got my SBT sorted now, including the latest SoundCheck(?) mod but I don't use it very much TBH. I've just put Win8 on my HTPC and am using foobar playing HiRes files mainly these days.
Dave.

I got the Nexus and it's fantastic. I downloaded the app for Kindle really cool and the books are so cheap.
