Righteo chaps, I am looking for a good value tonearm, under £100 as per my thread, thought I would post a wanted add.
Will be going on my vintage Sony TTS-3000 project. Possibly to be used with a Denon DL-103, which I quite liked on my old Luxman deck.
A Sony one would be nice, just to keep the theme going but not essential.

Tried to PM you with no luck. Contact (PM) me about arm if you wish.
Now, that TTS 3000 is a terrible, TERRIBLE thing, and you need to dump it immediately (I'd be delighted to take it off your hands ) and get a proper turntable like a Rega (;))
Seriously, hope the refurb and rebuild goes well for you and that you can find a good arm for it (R200 for that sort of price?).....

Dave: gimmi a 'TTS3000' any day :eyebrows: yew kno's i lurvs em
I don't think it's physically possible to fit a 9'' arm properly theirs too much metalwork sicking out the right hand side of the unit unless it was mounted by the side of the furthest point of the platter diameter which would look daft IMHO.. The 'R200' possibly ok as they are technically a 10'' arm. They really need a 12'' to look cooooooooooool :eyebrows:

Is an Audio Technica AT1005 Mk2 worth a shot? Been offered one under budget. (no arm lift though)

Ah right since you don't actually own a complete 'TTS3000' an arm will do ;)
Ah well, if the stock article is terrible (;) then this'll be ten times worse, as you'll have to make your own concoction up ;)
If similarly butchered lenco's can do so well, I have very high hopes indeeed for this one :respect:
